What is a Forget Me Not?
A: It’s a custom, engraved family history display that shows up to 7 generations of your family. Each name is carefully placed on wood puzzle-style pieces that fit together in a beautiful frame, creating both a keepsake and a conversation piece.
Why is it called “Forget Me Not”?
The name comes from the Forget-Me-Not flower, a symbol of remembrance. Our products are designed to help families remember and honor their heritage.
How many generations can be included?

What materials are used?
We use high-quality wood veneers such as maple, birch, and cherry. Each frame includes a magnetized backing with a patina-treated metal layer, making it both durable and easy to update.
Can I add or change family names later?
Yes! Puzzle pieces are designed to be removable and replaceable, so you can update your display as new research or corrections are made.
Customization
Can I choose the wood type or finish?
Yes, you can select from several wood veneers (maple, birch, cherry). Each has a unique look to match your home décor or personal style.
Do you offer custom engraving styles or fonts?
We have a curated selection of fonts designed to engrave cleanly and remain legible over time. You’ll be able to preview and choose during the order process.
Can I include middle names, dates, or places?
Names are the standard, but you can request additional details if space allows. We’ll guide you during the ordering process to ensure the design remains clear.
Ordering & Process
How do I place an order?
Start by making a selection among the various options at the checkout page of the website. Once your order is completed, you will receive an email with further details describing how to submit your family names and dates to us.
How do I know that the product will turn out the way I want it?
Once we have collected all of the names and special instructions from you, we will submit a preview of the design where you will be able to give final approval prior to production.
How long does it take to receive my artwork?
Once all of the names are received and you have approved the proof, production will typically happen within 1 week at which point the product will be shipped. The overall process typically takes about 2–4 weeks from order to receipt of your Forget Me Not. This can be affected depending on complexity and spikes in order volume near major holidays such as Christmas and Mother’s Day.
Can I give this as a gift?
Absolutely. These make perfect wedding, anniversary, or holiday gifts. We can ship directly to your recipient and include a personalized note.

Warranty & Care
What if a piece gets lost or damaged?
If anything ever goes wrong due to craftsmanship or materials, we’ll repair or replace it—no

How should I care for the artwork?
Simply dust with a soft cloth. Avoid direct sunlight or moisture to preserve the wood finish.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your Forget Me Not artwork—forever. That’s why we offer a lifetime warranty on your Forget Me Not. If you’re not fully satisfied with your artwork, you can return it at any time for a full refund (shipping fees may apply).
Special Considerations
Do you work with genealogy software or databases?
After the purchase, we will guide you through a process that will help facilitate getting your family names from programs like FamilySearch or Ancestry.
Can large families order multiple copies?
